I have a JB iphone 3G and I am trying to reinstall cydia but I first need to access the terminal and I don't even know what or where it is? Can someone help please ASAP...this is getting on my nerves! 😕

Why do you have to access terminal? To access terminal just type "Terminal" in the spotlight search. I have a jailbroken 3G using Redsn0w and there was no need for terminal though. Try rejailbreaking using Redsn0w : http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=11944
Do you have a procedure for reinstalling Cydia via the terminal, like with a .deb file? Do you have a link for that? The only version of mobile terminal that I know of that works on iOS4.x is at this repository, which you can add to Cydia, if your Cydia is still working at all:

EDIT: never mind about the procedure, I found it. You will need to install the terminal though, unless you can do SSH.
