I thought the same thing when I made my book in iPhoto 11. I think the new iPhoto should offer some clues for Lion. It obviously borrows a lot of elements from the iPad. And the black context menus are similar to those you get in the Dock on Snow Leopard.

Seems likely, especially since it's very much in line with iOS design. I approve :)

Looks great! The blue/White aqua is getting old. Bring on everything sleek and black.

Hmm. I prefer the ones you get when you right-click in the Dock. Pretty similar, though, and either way a nice change from the old ones.

And if the windows stay a neutral gray-ish color (or any similarly neutral color), the darker menus provide enough contrast to nicely avoid the transparency issue.
