iHome Photos and Video

The following images have been making the rounds:

iHome Images

In the days prior to an expo, claimed "spy shots" always seem to emerge. No credibility or backstory available.

Finder --> Go --> iDisk --> Other User's Public Folder --> "newbie4"

works better.

Looks like a painted cardboard box to me :-D

Although pretty nice design...

Yay! Finally Spy pics! Fairly convincing on first glance. Not sure about the 'iHome' name itself. I'm sure further scrutinising of the Photos will now commence.

wow,

this seems quite believable (sp?)

the imac thing was just a random picture - this seems to be fairly real/believable..

unless someone's sad enough to make a whole big box and everything just to look clever.

could this be the sub $500 mac?!!

There's also a short video clip on the iDisk.

Macworld is in the United States... why is it a Media Centre?!?!

... and why would a media center not have RCA output for a TV?

I call fake.

Well, surprisingly, my first inpression is that this is real, but there are 2 things that make me feel stand offish.

1. Centre not center, I know this is how it is spelled in UK and other places im sure, but i don't buy it.

2. Looks like the same elevator of the famed Aluminum 23".

Pretty convincing since they open up the box and show it off.

the actual thing when he takes it out the box to me loosk kinda flat as if it was just a painted/printed box itself, but the pic is low quality so hard to tell.

Can't connect to the iDisk. It asks for a password. Funny that you can hmm.. <points the finger of suspicion>

exactly my issue with this. the previous fake imac photos were from Europe if I called correctly and were in an elevator like this.

I don't know...there is something about this. The design and name seem good, but I don't think Apple would just let the box to their new product just hang out.

If Apple legal strikes, though, we'll know they are valid.

doesn't micro$oft call something, too, "media center"?

or another company...?

this would differentiate it, no?

From the crumpled paper on the edges of the lid, and crappy foam inside, I'd say somebody covered an iBook box in a layer of printed paper.

My thoughts when I saw it, too. It's crap.

And it just happens to like what appears to be an elevator.

yep, and the screenshot on the box looks just like iphoto to me..

plus - those pictures arent very apple-like. look at the photos on the ipod photo box and then looka t the pics on this box - they are all oldy people and the pcitures are browny/dull.

the reasons wh this is a fake are building up..

Below the apple, there's a line where there shouldn't be one... looks like... paper.

The corner of the device looks like paper-on-cardboard also.

I'm done. (azdude surfs elsewhere)
