Lion to get the MobileMe treatment
As we have seen with MobileMe over the last few months, each of its 'apps' have been updated to look more like their iPad counterpart, which in my eyes, is a good thing.
Somebody pointed out in a previous thread that Lion's Calendar looks like the iPad version. This says to me that we will be seeing iPadified apps across the whole of Lion. I think this will good if done well, it will be interesting to see how apple is going to cram in all the functionality into this new UI.

I wouldn't say we'll be getting iPad-like icons but seeing that iTunes and the App Store have a very similar style, we're probably going to see more compact or rounded icons.

Surprised people never seem to bring this up. I'm sure Lion will breathe some new life into Apple Mail, iCal, Address Book, etc.
