I'm sorry if this has been posted previosuly but I see no other coverage on this issue. We are using HDMI straight to an Insignia LED-LCD. We noticed that at times the audio would cut out, typically when there was no dialogue. At first it was just with netflix but then we noticed it with franferred movies as well.
I found that when I switched the audio setting for Dolby Digital to "On" as opposed to auto or off, the issue was resolved.
