Night photos from the International Space Station

It's a shame they're quite small and grainy. They're amazing as they are but properly done - I don't think I'd change my desktop picture ever again.

If you want those pesky lights gone, you can go to North Korea. There is a pic similar to these that shows Asia at night. North Korea is virtually dark while South Korea and Japan are pretty much totally lit up.

You should! It's gorgeous and so is the drive to get there. I got a bit sentimental at that particular photo. I drove all over that state with e.
 
Great photos! Although it's trivial, it's a cool thought that the moonshine gets reflected by the water, whether you're standing at a lakeshore or watching from space 🙂
