Securely erasing single files from iPhone

Hi,

I want to securely erase some files (video + images) from my iPhone but don't want to do a complete secure wipe. I just want to make sure that those particular files are gone for good. What are my options?

This is iOS4 jailbroken. I'm terminal-savy so can ssh into the device and do stuff if needed.
