Automatically "Create Network" on startup. [iPad controller]

Hi all,

I've installed a Mac Mini as a media hub on a boat. I want the mini to create a wireless network on startup so that the iPad can recognise it and will work as a controller for the computer.

At the moment I have to manually create the network. The previous network details are saved in the dialog window so it just take a couple of clicks, but requires a mouse to do, which is not the solution I'm looking for. I need the mini to switch on and create the network on startup. Is this possible?

I've tried recording an action with Automator, but this doesn't work on startup as an application.

Should this be scripted?
