Anyone Ever Use The Mac App Clusters?

Just wondering if anyone on here has ever used the mac app Clusters. From what i have heard it works quite well, but my real question is how would it work on a SSD. I am looking into getting a new Macbook Air, and since SSD have a more limited life span than a standard hard drive and they read and write data a bit differently than a standard hard drive, I am wondering if the app would be a good buy for a macbook air, or if it could possibly have adverse effects on the SSD like lessening the life of the SSD because of more read and writes or possibly fragmenting the drive. Anyone have any feedback or insight?
