Hello everyone. I need a nice 13" 2010 MacBook Air owner to do a favor for me. I need the bootcamp drivers for windows 7. They can be downloaded by going to utilities>boot camp>download windows support software. I have already erased the original OS and did not download them. PLEASE if someone could be nice enough to download them and upload them to rapidshare or something. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ANY HELP.

Why don't you reinstall Mac OS X (faster than waiting three days for someone to upload something) and download those drivers via Boot Camp Assistant or however it works?
I tried reading the USB drive on my windows desktop PC and it didn't recognise it at all. Kept giving errors about the volume information, access denied and a bunch of other ************ apple put to protect the drive.

Maybe, just maybe, it could be due to the volume using the Mac OS Extended (HFS+) format in order to be usable as installation source for Mac OS X.
I'm beginning to think the USB Restore drive is deliberately locked onto the specific air it is built for, or at least for the Macbook Air series. I remember reading another post on MR that says his/her iMac couldn't read the usb drive too. Furthermore, if the drive is only locked onto the HFS+ filesystem, don't you think Windows installed via Bootcamp on Macs wouldn't be able to read the drive? How else would they be able to install their drivers then.
Anyway, I'm gonna install MacDrive on my Windows PC now and will update if I can read the USB thingy or not.
Why don't you just download from Apple?

I tried the update but I need the full version first. I tried the original bootcamp that works on other macs and then installed the update but I'm still having issues. I need the original bootcamp that you download using OSX like I described earlier. Currently my screen resolution is low, volume/brightness buttons are not working, and computer won't allow "sleep". Please help. I just need someone to download that bootcamp using their computer and upload it somewhere where I could download it. Thanks.

No problem buddy. I'm just happy it worked our for you. I would try and send over a copy of the usb key but im not sure how to clone it.

I'd also like to thank you for uploading these MBA Boot Camp drivers. I was able to update many of the Windows 7 x64 drivers on my mid-2010 MBP 13", including the NVidia chipset, NVidia 320M GPU, Broadcom wireless adapter, Apple Keyboard, and Mouse drivers. The Broadcom wireless update was especially useful, with download speeds doubling after the installation compared with the default Boot Camp drivers provided with the Mac OS X install disc.

I know this is an old thread, but I am trying to install windows on my mac, because VM ware sucks for gaming, and I cant get my mac to download the drivers. When I go into windows installation, it gives me an error saying the drivers are missing and asks for the drivers CD. I cant eject the windows dvd (says I can but the eject button wont work). Any way I can get this file too? Will it even work for me? How do I get the windows drivers for my mac?
