the reason you liberal cowards attack sarah palin is because your scared of her!

Several people here keep calling her an idiot and so forth, or a quitter. But then we have to ask: how does she compare to the bunch running things? Who is running up trillions of dollars of debt? Who created a stimulus package that was simply a grab-bag of liberal pork? Add up all the other abominations (like clearly unconstitutional healthcare) of our leadership.

Okay, go ahead and call Sarah a half-wit. But from what I see, it appears that quality is more important than quantity.

I hear people say how dumb Palin is but they really don't have any good reason other than they have been told by the liberal media and comedians that she is.

Criminals will always tell you what they are afraid of. They'll say, "be quiet" or "don't move". It is just human nature. Democrats are telling us what they fear. They fear Palin because they know she is smart, articulate, and makes more sense than most people in Washington right now.

If you do not like her agenda then that is fine. Don't say she is dumb because you disagree with her. If you do insist she is dumb then come up with a better argument than she couldn't rattle off a list of magazines she reads.

Is all this generic name-calling allowed? In another thread, all who disagree with you are apparently "liberal scum". I think you need to watch your lip.

No- we fear her because not only is she a moron, but she's also:

1. Homophobic
2. Similar to George Bush, but even dumber. We all know how well that turned out
3. Was incapable of finishing her job as governor and screwed up Alaska to the point that they want nothing to do with her.

There's a lot more- those are just a few.

1. any proof?- not bastardizing marriage doesn't make her homophobic.
2. more non sense, sarah is libertarian
3. again, she left politics to pursue a higher goal, when she realized how much america is falling apart under the socialist reign of barry. she needed to focus on the libertarian movement to save america in 2012.

Name calling is against the rules. It has nothing to do with my feelings. Thanks for your ever-so-sincere concern though.

Oh please! She left to make herself a pretty penny! She does not give one's rat's ass about this country. She cares about herself.

How is removing an arbitrary restriction on a legal contract between two consenting adults "bastardizing" it?

How isn't it possible for same-sex couples to announce their love to the community.

Combining those two things is all marriage ever was.

When she says something similar to "I can see Russia from my house" when talking about foreign policy, its quite clear she has far less of a clue than Dubya did.

BTW- a nice list of reasons we think she's stupid/dangerous:

Quote:

1 "As Putin rears his head and comes into the air space of the United States of America, where – where do they go? It's Alaska. It's just right over the border." Explaining why Alaska's proximity to Russia gives her foreign policy experience. Interview with CBS's Katie Couric, Sept. 24, 2008

2. "We believe that the best of America is not all in Washington, D.C. ... We believe that the best of America is in these small towns that we get to visit, and in these wonderful little pockets of what I call the real America, being here with all of you hard working very patriotic, um, very, um, pro-America areas of this great nation." - Bidding for support at a fundraiser in Greensoboro, N.C., Oct. 16, 2008

3. "Well, let's see. There's - of course - in the great history of America rulings there have been rulings." Proving unable to name a Supreme Court decision she disagreed with other than Roe vs. Wade (which legalised abortion), interview with Katie Couric, CBS News, Oct. 1, 2008.

4. "All of 'em, any of 'em that have been in front of me over all these years." Unable to name a single newspaper or magazine she reads, interview with Katie Couric, CBS News, Oct. 1, 2008

5. "They are also building schools for the Afghan children so that there is hope and opportunity in our neighbouring country of Afghanistan." - Showing off her geographical knowledge at a fundraiser in San Francisco, Oct. 5, 2008

6. "Pray for our military men and women who are striving to do what is right. Also, for this country, that our leaders, our national leaders, are sending soldiers out on a task that is from God. That's what we have to make sure that we're praying for, that there is a plan and that that plan is God's plan." Speaking to students at the Wasilla Assembly of God, June 2008

7. "As for that VP talk all the time, I'll tell you, I still can't answer that question until somebody answers for me what is it exactly that the VP does every day?" - Unfortunate comment made in interview with CNBC's "Kudlow & Co," July 31, 2008 before she was selected as McCain's running mate.

8. "They're in charge of the U.S. Senate so if they want to they can really get in there with the senators and make a lot of good policy changes that will make life better for Brandon and his family and his classroom." Getting the vice president's constituitional role wrong after being asked by a third grader what the vice president does. Interview with NBC affiliate KUSA in Colorado, Oct. 21, 2008

9. "I told the Congress, 'Thanks, but no thanks,' on that Bridge to Nowhere." – Palin who was for the Bridge to Nowhere before she was against it

10. "I'm the mayor, I can do whatever I want until the courts tell me I can't.'" - As quoted by former City Council Member Nick Carney, after he raised objections about the $50,000 she spent renovating the mayor's office without approval of the city council

Let's compare Sarah's few gaffes (which everyone does) and Obama's performance, then decide who the idiot is.

Maybe you can explain how a few gaffes get someone dismissed as an idiot but doing the things to this country that this person (Obama) is doing gets a pass?

Instead of spitting vitriol, try explaining this to me.

Excuse me? You have absolutely no right to demand, nor do you even deserve, a civil conversation. Look at your thread title if you want vitriol. You start a thread titled like this and you get what you deserve.

And what exactly is it that Obama is doing that so frightens you? You don't even live here!

BTW- it must really burn you up that you live a place with UHC and gay marriage.

And Sarah Palin says idiotic things on a daily basis. There is no shortage of stupid remarks from that woman.

Oh for goodness' sake. You don't even know the woman and we can all be damn sure she couldn't care less about you.

Obama's performance, bad as it is, is still infinitely preferable to someone who displays ignorance of the country, the constitution, history, the economy, global affairs, current events, and geography. She would be an absolute disaster as POTUS, for everyone including you.

Give it up. She's not President material.
