I honestly never knew they would come off. Try www.powerbookmedic.com . I have ordered from them before. If you don't see it on their website give them a call they have all sorts of used goodie they don't list.

Does anyone know where i can find one?

Looks like im going to have to buy a whole new top lid...

I was using scratch x on the top lid, it worked its way into the cracks around the glowing logo, disolved the glue that was holding it on there, I tried to fix it but i broke it in 2 while trying to remove it.

But before all of this my display has been failing right from the day i removed it from its box.(new)

If your display was broken you should just get an replacement from apple. Since you screwed it that scratch remover, you will have troubles asking for an replacement.

But what does your display do?

haha, well the display has a "white patch" in the middle of it and towards the sides.

It was like it when i took it out of the box before i messed up the logo,

When it goes to the apple store (200+miles away) they wont be able to tell i messed anything up, I will be sure of that.

They "should" just give me a new macbook because there policy is that they dont work on displays.. i think,

Oh and hey thanks for that 64 bit, your the man..

You could always buy a broken MacBook off eBay. Then source the apple logo and you'd still have a lot of leftover parts to work with.

Yeah i think im just going to buy a used top lid from an older macbook and extract the apple logo from it. (should be the same)

I found a used toplid for like 20 bucks which isnt bad..

Your welcome

That looks like the light shining trough the apple logo, mine does that to. And my back light isn't even. An excuse to when the warranty expires go matte

Yes they don't work on displays they replace the top lid (with the amounts of glue that they use on manufacture it would be hard for them to deal with it).

But if you can get a top lid for 20bucks go for it
