Hi, i have a iphone 4 32gb black. It came on 4.1.
The second i opened the box, i hacktivated it with limera1n. When i go into settings, it shows
Carrier: Not available
Is that because i never put a valid sim card in it so the iphone does not show what company its locked to ? ( i know thats telus). Will it be fixed if i put a telus sim card in it now or it must be done before ? Will ultrasn0w be able to unlock it ( if it ever comes out for 02.10.04 ).
Also, another very important point is that on apple website when i enter my serial number, it shows my phone as never activated ( aka not sold yet ) and its been now 3 months. Does that mean that i have a total control over my warranty service since they do not ask for the invoice ( receipt) when asking a repair in their store or online ?

Can i activate a Telus Iphone 4 with a non activated Telus micro sim card ?
iF yes, i will simply have to purchase a sim card for 10 bucks and activate my phone ?
