Anyone tried using the iPhone 4 SIM in a 3G data card with an adaptor? I know the original iPhone SIM didn't work. Just wondering if the 4's SIM does before ordering the adaptor. I have an unlocked AT&T Option GT ExpressCard I'd like to use in my MBP.

It will work, I used my old iphone 3G sim before on various aircards.
You just gotta set up the APN settings correctly on the 3G card and it will work.

I was using an unlocked siera wireless card but I sold it and started using Mywi instead.
Search online, you should be able to find what you need to edit to your cards settings to have it work with your iphones sim.

Info I could find a while back when I was looking into things was this:

APN: isp.cingular
USER: ISP@CINGULARGPRS.COM
PASSWORD: CINGULAR1

Just wanted to see if you had something different. 😀

Try a few of these below and hope you get it to work.
APN: wap.cingular
User Name: wap@cingulargprs.com
Password: CINGULAR1
However name and password can be left blank as they are, and have been optional for well over a year now.

Or
Operator: - Cingular
GPRS APN: - isp.cingular
Username: - ISPDA@CINGULARGPRS.COM
Password: - CINGULAR1
DNS: - 66.209.10.201, 66.209.10.202
