Podcast Producer (sample) landscape / hardware needs

Hi folks,

I'm trying to find some documentation about sample landscapes and sizing examples for Podcast Producer and "rendering" duration to choose the right hardware. Something like a t-shirt sizer - small, medium, large.

I assume processing time of xgrid is the critical component, so we'd like to start small to get the PP2 up and running from a configuration and workflow customization point of view. Once we see the platform is accepted, podcast creation demand is growing and server performance is getting critical, we can add a further server for xgrid. Final Podcasts will be transferred to another intranet server after production.
Do you think starting with MacPro, 1x 2,8GHz, 8GB, 2x2TB raid1 is reasonable?
In case of an additional xgrid server, we’d ensure fast network but no xsan as this shouldn’t be the bottleneck – right?

Thanks for any advice!
