Don't know who else ordered a 1GB, but mine, ordered the evening of the keynote, shipped yesterday night, and I'll have it in the next 5 days!

Anyone else get a shipping confirmation?

Mine was also shipped last night,lucky for me I live in CA.
Just waiting for the UPS guys to come 🙂
 
I got my 512 today - it's awesome; so small, so simple, just as loud and clear as my regular pod.

Holds the perfect amoutn of songs for running, or a commute...

These things are going to eat Creative for lunch.

UPS guys is taking to damn long. i am at work and get of at 2:30pm pst.
Now I have to wait for my ipod shuffle. "Hurry up man!!!!! 😡 "

HA!!!! finally got it,damn this little player is small.
I grew inpatient so i decides to leave and as soon i jump in my car "BAM"
Mr.UPS Man shows up, talk about perfect timing 😀 🙄 🙂
 
Got Mine (Sort Of)

My 1G was delivered to my house at 2:30 this afternoon. Now I just have to go home and get it! Didn't think I'd be getting it a week BEFORE they estimated!
 
You're all rather lucky... Mine's coming via FedEx, and they don't even have it their tracking page yet. Grrrrr... 😡
 
Got my 512 last Tuesday, and it's a blessing.

I'm a sports designer/writer at my paper, and it's perfect for work. I wear it around my neck and keep only one earbud in (so I can still hear by boss when he needs to tell me something). It's much better than lugging around the CD player and burned CDs I was using. I think even an iPod mini would have been too big for my needs.

It holds enough songs to last an entire shift, and takes less a few minutes to upload and switch songs out.

I'm soooo very glad I waited to buy one of these!
 
those of you who already have shipping confirmation for your 1gb shuffles...when did you place your order? thanks.
