Hi, I'm getting the MBA 13,3" and will be using my current macbook pro as a desktop computer connected to an external display. My plans are to keep the lid closed but this makes the mbp go very hot. Soo is there any good cooling pads for Mbp? I would like something really flat and does it exist without fans?

no need for cooling pads ... the MBP was designed to also run in Clamshell without much heat increase ... it should not be getting "very hot"

Rather than a band-aid like a cooling pad (especially something weak like a fanless one), I would go to the root of the problem and try fan control software like smc.
