Corel Painter IX in MacMall catalog . . .

I received a MacMall catalog recently (which takes longer to reach me here in Kuwait) and was pleasantly surprised to find Corel Painter IX offered for $279. When I went online to Macmall's website the price was listed as $379! When I called them they told me that I was not looking at the current catalog and the price in the current catalog was in fact $379. Does a $100 price jump seem like a lot to anyone else? That's more than a 35% increase from one catalog to the next! I can't say they tried to "bait and switch" me, but it still seemed a little devious. Does anyone know if that $279 price was an error on their part? Thanks!
