Weeelll, yeah there are upgrades from Final Cut Pro 1 to 2 to 3 and so on.

I believe mandm is reffering to the possibility of FCP 4, and there was a big thread about that just a little while ago. I don't feel like hunting for it right now, but to those whom it concerns, the upgrade to FCP 4 has already been discussed in detail.
