I found an odd problem with my computer earlier today. (iMac C2D with Snow Leopard 10.6.5)

It turns out the missus was using it before I woke up, and it kernel paniced on her. After a reboot it seemed to be fine. However, safari had seemed to have lost its settings. This didn't bother me much, as I don't have many customisations, so I just set things back.

When I went to use my computer later, and re-opened safari, I found it had lost all its settings again. Window State, Home page, status bar, etc. History, however, was still there.

After rebooting, it seemed to have recovered itself, but then, when closing and re-opening, all the settings were lost again.

Anyone have an idea what I can do to sort this?

Thanks a lot!
