-Got battery replaced with a new one a couple months ago
-macbook pro about a 1.5 years old
yesterday:
-macbook shut off and took about 2 minutes to turn back on
-fan runs loud regardless of heat (i leave it well ventilated)
-the date was resetted to 12/31/2000
-battery cannot be read and says no battery is installed
-charger light is very dim now; charges though because it should be dead by now based on how much ive been using it since
-cannot see % of charge of battery
-istat shows that hd temp is 28-31degree celsius
ima go get it checked later this week but wondered if yall had any idea what may be the cause. confident that its a battery issue but wondered what may cause the fan to run so loud whenever its turned on.
