State of Denial
Ever since I had my PowerBook repaired (it had a faulty RAM socket), it occasionally has some severe sound problems on waking from sleep. Most of the time it just ends up spitting out unintelligible noise at a very high volume, but occasionally it simply sets the volume to maximum and the volume keys, while they show the volume changing, don't actually change it. In both cases a restart is sufficient to fix it. Does anyone have any ideas?
