Cheap iTunes gift card - Too good to be true?

I don't understand how it works fully, but I can assure you that i've been ripped off once in the past with these things.

As I recall, the first couple worked and the last failed and couldn't get a refund!!

If it seems too good to be true, it probably is!
 
careful with this. the seller bought the giftcard with a stolen credit card, your account might get disabled a few days after you reedem the
code.

Paypal can be fooled. Don't believe you are protected.

The cards are often purchased with stolen credit cards, and if you happen to use them on iTunes, after Apple finds out they are stolen, your account will be frozen .
 
Is there such a thing as a physical iTunes Gift Card in $1000 denomination?

Nevermind - I see - they are offering access to an iTunes account with $1000 credit in it. I can't see anything good possibly coming out of this deal.

Here's the part that might give you clear reason for pause - anything with usage windows like this - and that wants to keep the password the same (so they can also get access to what you buy perhaps?) is trying to play the fraud detection window.

You can definitely get iTunes cards at below face value (I usually wait until they're on offer and buy lots of £15 cards for £10 each), but would never accept anywhere that didn't send me the physical, un-scratched iTunes gift card. Certainly anything were you get given the login details to a different account isn't right!

OP you said it yourself....too good to be true. I would stay far away from these kind of deals as they are all scams.
 
Indeed don't think all iTunes card sales are a scam. In the UK especially, there's always some retailer discounting them and they're entirely genuine.

However, $1000? That's insane. This is really too good to be true. You can't even buy iTunes cards in that domination, I think.
 
There are people selling discounted gift cards all over but not at that steep of a discount!

I have been tracking go phone cards and it seems the most you can get off those is around 20%.
 
scam i could see a person selling 1 say a $100 card of cheap if they won it or got it as a gift, but $1000 card sounds fishy for that example to work
