how to fully delete a program and useless pictures?

This is a two parter.
When I first bought this mac I got free anti virus from my school but I learned I dont need it from this forum. It was Symantec. I deleted it or so I thought. I will still occasionally get this pop up that says something like. "Anti virus scan will begin in 30sec" or something from Symantec. How do I make sure I deleted everything from it so this stops?

Also, I was in my application file and under "images" I noticed there is a whole bunch of random stuff like cartoon pictures of cows, phones, glasses, ppl, food etc. I think its like pre installed but I think this is new from a software update maybe? Any way, is it okay to delete all those or do I need them for some reason?

And I also just remembered, can anyone tell me how to view and completely delete my files in the "quarantine" I've google searched this so much but cant find it.

CleanApp, like all the other app removal programs, leaves files/folders undeleted. The only effective method is manual removal.

I tested CleanApp using Skype. It left behind 6 folders and 7 files.

I tried the manual way to delete it but nothing came up under the finder.

Also, anyone know the answer to the other questions?

Did you include System files, as instructed?

As for the popup notification, check here for anything that might be related:
System Preferences > Accounts > youraccount > Login Items

For the pictures, what folder are they in?

Depending on how you removed the anti-virus app, you may have already deleted the quarantine folder.

AppTrap

I downloaded AppTrap (it's free) when I move Apps to the Trash, it will ask you: Do I want to delete all files associated with this App, answer is yes and you should be good to go. Even some Demo version that just sit somewhere hidden and don't want to uninstall (CleanMyMac) are gone that way !!!
