My music total is attached. It includes live DVDs, and there are about 500 tracks still to go on.
I've got about 3TB of other video files as well (TV shows and films). Quite a lot of them are my wife and Sons though. |

359 GB, mostly lossless music in AIFF format.
About 20 GB from there is from the iTunes Store and Amazon MP3 purchases. I don't have my movies/tv shows in my iTunes library... yet. |

Music, only 17303 items so 93.67GB
Movies, only 145 items 297.68GB Tv shows, only 400 items 132GB Podcasts 4.3GB Not a massive collection as far as some of you have got. But I am content. and my movie library is constantly increasing in size.

iTunes overkill
I've been working on my iTunes back-end for a little while. External MyBook drives have given way to a brief dalliance with Windows Home Server. The home of the media is now a Drobo, which is loaded with three 1.5TB drives (from the WHS box) and a 2.0TB drive - slightly under 4TB useable space if memory serves, Drobo claims the largest of the drives plus a bit of space off each of the data drives for data protection. It's about half full, but I've been working on acquiring content for awhile.
Before you ask, let me tell you. There's an oldish G4 Mac Mini whose sole purpose in life is to house the iTunes library - it's got the Drobo connected to it. I'm currently at SD in my house, but am hopeful that the HDTV will come along this year. My kids (7 and 10) have the DVD player and Dish Network system down pat but I'm looking to secure the extensive DVD library somewhat from further damage by the aforementioned 7 and 10 year olds, never mind my various Season Passes and whatnot I've gotten through iTunes. iTunes/Front Row/Apple TV offers that simple menu-based access, and now the back-end is in place. Next purchase for the system will be an HDTV, hopefully followed quickly by an Apple TV since the G4 Mini is nowhere near capable of actually playing HD content but can serve it up well enough. |

Boys and Girls... I dont mean to humiliate you all with your small iTunes libraries, but I currently have a 7.1TB iTunes Library... all my media is stored on a 12TB DroboPro, My Library is hosted on an early 2010 Mac Mini running SnowLeopard Server, my v2 Apple TV is connected to my 42" TV

I'm going the opposite direction of you guys.
I used to have close to 300gb of music, and only music, but decided to start weeding it out. Got down to about 230gb of music by Oct. of last year. I got a huge help in weeding it out when my Macbook Pro with all of that was stolen, so what was recovered from the Ipods and Iphones in our house amounted to about 130gb. It's not all bad - I am really looking at it as an opportunity to figure out what was truly important. I have most of that music on CD, and realized that if it wasn't on an Ipod, it probably wasn't all that important. Ultimately, I'd actually like to halve that.

182 GB of pretty much all music.
With hundreds of CDs still yet to be ripped... I listen to all different kinds of music, and I like variety. EDIT almost forgot I also have a laptop with another 40 GB or so of exclusively jazz that is not in the other library. |

I moved my 750 films and 2000 tv episodes to use in plex.

I would say that I listen to my whole collection once a year, and then there are obviously albums that I listen to multiple times on top of that. Basically, it would take about 9-10 months to play through once. As for video, I don't watch all that much, but a lot of my collection is actually my wife and sons. I suspect that if I started watching through everything then it would take a good few years to watch through. With TV stuff though, it doesn't bother me as much if I don't watch something for a long time. It's just nice to know it's there when I want it. |

About 1TB of movies (all 1080p), 500GB of TV Shows (mixed between standard def and 720p), and approximately 40GB of music. Pretty much all metal/rock/etc.
