Best way to backup and restore a virtual machine in VMware Fusion?
I have an XP machine running in VMware Fusion 3.1.2 and I want to back it up and then restore it on a different Mac. How do I do this?

Assuming that you have it running from a virtual disk, just copy the disk file over to the other machine.
11" MacBook air 2012 i5 4gb/ 128gb - 17" unibody MBP C2D 2.8Gz / 4gb / 500gb - 20" iMac 2ghz C2D / 4gb/ 2tb - iPad 3 32gb wifi/3G - iPhone 5 16gb

If you're going to be running the same virtual machine on different machines at the same time and you're using bridged networking you should change the MAC address of the moved virtual machine (it can be done in the advanced section of the Network settings for that virtual machine).
