Hi, So I am planning on purchasing an apple tv and I have a question about streaming pandora via my computer to my apple tv.

Can it be done. I would like the audio from my computer to play through my home stereo speakers. I know it can be done via another iOS device, however I'm stuck with a iPhone 3G.

look at airfoil, it will let you stream audio from any one program, or the entire system audio. There is a roughly 2 second delay due to buffering, so video is problematic, they do have solutions for that though.

* there is a free trial that will transmit for a few minutes at a time, I only mention because someone once bitched that they wasted all that money, and it didn't work like they thought it should.

I've done exactly this using Airfoil and it works great. I've streamed to both versions of the ATV with no problems.
