Hi, I have a red light in my headphone jack. The sound doesn't work at all if I don't have headphones in and it only works with headphones if I have them pulled out halfway or so. I've read in other threads about using a q-tip/ball-point pen tube/bobby pin to fix it, and after trying all of those nothing has worked. Right before the red light started, I had my laptop in my backpack and the headphones were plugged in and I think they got pushed in too far, so I think this might have something to do with it. Any suggestions on what to do? I'm hoping I don't need a whole new logic board or anything, so I'm wondering if anyone knows if it's just an issue with the headphone jack or something else. Everything else with my macbook works fine, it's just the red light problem.

Thanks!
