I'm probably going to get blasted for this...

BUT, out of curiosity, as this is the first time I've really been following apples update schedule, and am desperately trying to wait until the PMs are updated before buying...I'm wondering if, now that the PBs have been upgraded, is that a good sign that the PMs will be up soon?

They're already 60 days behind the average upgrade, and this is the longest stretch the PMs have gone without an upgrade since at least the beginning of 2002 (that's as far back as the buyers guide goes)

Any ideas? Past experiences?

Hey,

The consensus is that yes, they will be updated soon. Search on other threads for users expectations of the new specs. Atm, they're just too close to the new Powerbook revisions for Apple to sit on its heels for long.

maybe not blasted, just ignored? 😱 🙁 😕 😱

the stock RAM is now the same in the PBs as it is in the two high-end PMs.. so I dunno if that means anything but it probably won't stay like that for too much longer
