So the story goes I bought a used Iphone with cracked glass and a lcd with some issues, I used it for a couple of days whilst waiting for the replacements.
I also ordered a new backing piece as it wasn't looking so tidy!
The problem I have is, after complete dis-assembly and reassembly the screen and what would seem to be the iphone isnt working. I have plugged it into itunes and the phone is syncing etc, so it would suggest that the phone is on?
Ive tried taking it apart several times but with no avail, but my feeling is the lcd is not correctly functioning. could I have messed up some of the ribbons, although I dont remember doing so. I do remember that when putting the screen in for the first time it worked, however this is before i took it apart! The phones vibrate didnt work before, so I cannot test it with the silent switch!
