Need help to recover typed text from online form

So I was typing out a long email to a customer service dept that had some important info within their online forms, and it was worded how I wanted it, when my page went back accidentally and I lost everything. I've searched how to recover lost typed text, but I'm having no luck. I've even tried finding files in Terminal or using BBedit (since I'm using older OS X, if failed). Does anyone know how I can recover lost typed text?

I'm using:

Safari 4.1.3
Mac OS X 10.4.11

The BBedit would only allow use with Leopard and higher. The Terminal response kept saying that no file existed with /Users/(username)/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db

Of course, I put my user name in the parens, just in case that gets brought up. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It's gone.

Only exception might be if the computer you were typing it on had keylogging software that recorded all input typing.

Suggestion:

I doubt you're ever going to see that [previously typed and now lost] text again, but the NEXT TIME you go to fill out a form with a considerable amount of text, open TextEdit and create a text file BEFORE you fill out the form. You can save the text file anywhere you wish.

And then, when it's time to actually fill out the form, just copy and paste your text into the form.

That's exactly how I composed this reply to your original post.

Ok, thanks. I know of a few times this has happened before when I clicked back/forward without realizing it and then go back to the page, and it's all there. It didn't work when I tried this morning. Then I read online that it's possible to extract info from the cache file with a program like SafariCacheExplorer, but my OS is a bit older. The really funny thing is that I went into my history, accidentally clicked out of this page JUST NOW, clicked back, and ALL of this text is still there. Strange. But the textedit is a good idea. I'll just do that from now on.
