End of Happy Mac in Jaguar, but Sad Mac?

OK, I know that the Happy Mac icon at startup was replaced by a grey Apple logo. Does anyone know if the sad mac was also replaced? Not that I want anyone to seat their RAM improperly, but if anyone has any experience, I'd like to know. Thanks.
