imovie keeps crashing.

So I've been dealing with this problem for a while now.

My imovie 09 crashed well importing a movie and since then its never worked.

Every time I'd launch it nothing would happen my screen would just go black for a couple mins and then back to the desktop like nothing happened.

I upgraded to ilife 11 and hope this would solve the problem, but imovie is still messed up.

Now when I launch imoive starts to load up and then crashes but now I'm getting a crash report.

I'm wondering what I should do to fix this, and if anyone else has ever faced an similar issue.

I had a very similar problem with iMovie '09. For the life of me I could never figure it out. As strange as this may sound, I had found the culprit: FLASH. Once I uninstalled Flash, iMovie worked perfectly again.

Give that a try and see if it helps.

Uninstall Flash.

You can always reinstall it again later.

Didn't seem to help. my imovie is still crashing. Any ideas?
