Search not working in pdf after highlighting and saving.

hello...
im trying to save manuals with highlighted text.
whenever i save a pdf... reguardless of weather i highlight it or not
(to be exact) the search engine in preview doesnt work or only finds one word.

any help would be greatly appreciated.
