Remove Custom Greenpois0n Boot Logo

Hey all,
I finally was able to get Cydia to install on my iPhone 4. Does anyone know if there is a way to remove the custom skull/apple icon from the boot sequence? I know that there is now the option to have a custom boot logo, but I really just want to go back to the plain Apple look.

I believe they removed the animation from the most recent version.

From RC5? That's the latest version - the one that's able to JB 4.2.1. It's definitely still there. It's not too big of an annoyance, but I prefer the look of the plain Apple logo.

If you have iFile, go to the path specified and delete animate

Just did it on my Mac using this method with iPhone Explorer. Worked like a charm.

I get why they did it, branding namely. However, I would have been okay with a rotating Apple logo. That I would've left.

Download iPhone explorer, it is free and available for both Mac and win.

Browse to /usr/bin and delete the animate file.
