snow leopard server on mbp via bootcamp
i was wondering if tis possible to install snow leopard server on a MBP via bootcamp? Ultiamtely I'm looking to have SLS on an external drive that I can boot too... possible?

Yes and yes. Boot Camp Assistant does create a second partition, but is using the FAT32 file system. You need to format the second partition using HFS+.
But you could also use Disk Utility to partition your HDD/SSD.
