This morning I took a taxi to work, and my iPhone 4 slipped out of my pocket into the taxi. I realized this about an hour later, and logged into Mobile Me to find my phone driving across town, and then stop in the East End of my city. I contacted the taxi company, they contacted the driver (finally, after taking 4 hours) and he said that there was no phone in the car.
Meanwhile, I called the phone and it rang only once and then went straight to voice mail. This is strange, since I hadn't turned the phone off and it was charged. Usually it rings like 10 times. I travelled to the area where MobileMe said it was located, and it took me to a large house divided into smaller living units.
I'm a Telus customer. My question is: where do I go from here? Should I lock and wipe the phone from MobileMe, then contact Telus? What should I ask them to do? Is a replacement phone expensive?
Thanks for your help!
