Here is a little pointer for anyone who has an iOS device, specifically an iPhone running 4.2.1 JB and non-JB.
I had an unrelated issue with my device and had to restore my iPhone. I re-JB'd the phone and everything seemed OK. One thing, the contacts wouldn't sync for the life of me. I tried everything from doing another restore without JBing, removing the MobileMe account, resetting sync data on my Mac, even called up Express Lane. Nothing... until...
I found this little gem on Apple's website...

I'll spare you the reading. Remove the affected MobileMe account from your device in its entirety. Then when adding the MobileMe account back, use all lower-case characters for your username... no caps at all.
Needless to say, I did it, and my contacts and all propagated nearly instantly.
Figured instead of asking a question, I could answer one before it was asked, I know I spent almost a whole day trying to solve this problem.
