Handbrake presets? ATV2 vs Normal? Really better?

What is the real difference between ATV 2 preset and simply checking normal? The only difference I see on encore settings is anamorphic switches to "loose", goes to A 29.97 framerate and it takes up a whole lotta more space on my HD. I can't see a quality difference on my 40" HDTV.

I also stream movies to my iPhone and iPad on the go and in the car (so kids can watch movies). So I assume the larger file size will take longer to buffer and eat up more data

Thus far I've continued to use "normal" preset but should I switch and start using ATV 2?
