this game is intense, i've been playing it recently
its an older game but it still holds up. It has hundreds of hours of game play. Its pretty much a straight up RPG style game, you have a character and a party and go out doing quests... pretty standard, but it is done really well and the plot can go many different ways depending on what you do.
Unfortunatley i've been having errors with one of my discs, it has a little scratch on it...
anyway its a really good rpg, if you don't like the rpg style then this would be to much for you probably, but if you do like rpg's then this is the one to get.

Yeah what he said...and it's under $20 at Macplay.
I wish someone had written a port to allow the original BG to run natively in OSX. Then again I'm usually more inclined toward the older games; they just seem more enjoyable. Back then you actually had to produce a decent product instead of something mediocre and pad it with eye candy.
