I have a piece of **** Brother DCP-7040 printer that is installed on my desktop PC and it is being shared on my network. All my Windows machines print from it fine.

But according to Apple (when I called them) they said as long as Windows has Print Sharing on and the printer is properly shared through Windows then it should pop up right away under the default tab in print & fax on my MBP.

Well it just so happen to be properly turned on and shared through Windows. I just want to print from my MBP to my printer that is being shared from a PC.

I know it is possible can someone help and how does Bonjour fit in this picture?

There are numerous old posts on this forum about printing to Windows-shared printers from your Mac. Your Windows Help file should explain how to do it. So too does the Finder Help menu on your Mac.
