Cycling header images with transitions
Can someone tell me how to make my header rotate between two or three images? With some cool transitions? and without using flash....I have seen it dont on a few sites...without flash...thanks!

Take a look at jQuery. There's a lot of samples out there using that library. Specifically search for slideshow and/or hero.

Use the Cycle jQuery plugin. You can find the info and download here.
http://jquery.malsup.com/cycle/ Easy to configure, and plays nice with lots of other scripts.

If I may reiterate, USE jQUERY. Learn it, study it, eat it (not really)...it will help you discover the joys of javascript and the world of un-flash.
