(Updated) FT: PowerBook 12" 1.33 for iMac G4/5
I would like to trade my beloved, pristine, perfect PowerBook G4 12" for an iMac G4 or G5. The specs of my machine are:
1.33 GHz G4 1.25 GB of RAM 60 GB hard disk Combo DVD/CD-RW Bluetooth AirPort Extreme 2 USB 2.0 ports 1 FireWire 400 port 10/100 Ethernet 56K v.92 modem I would like to trade for: iMac G4 or G5 17" 1.25 - 1.6 GHz At least 768 MB of RAM 80 GB hard disk Combo drive AirPort Extreme is a must Bluetooth built-in is a plus A wireless keyboard/mouse might not be bad, too I'm open for most offers, so please don't hesitate to make a serious one. More on me and my computer: I used this computer every day for the last 8 months as my home and work machine. It lives on my desk as a desktop and travels in a soft case inside a leather bag to and from my job at Penn State. It is, as stated, in immaculate shape inside and out. It is also in warranty until July, so it's still eligible for AppleCare. For some reason, I have this bug in my ear that I need a desktop instead. We are getting new G5s at work (finally) and I don't feel that I want to bring my computer to and from anymore. I would much rather have a desktop and just take a mobile hard disk back and forth. I also don't want to go through the hassle of buying and selling outright on eBay. So, I would like to trade for an iMac G5. I wouldn't rule out a nice iMac G4, though. |
