Saturation fringing? Need advice.
After shooting film for a while and worrying about the expense I've been shooting stills with a t2i just for kicks.
I have a strange workflow that I developed after shooting velvia 50 for a while. I shoot a stop over at ISO 100, pull down a half stop, develop at 5500K, and turn clarity, vibrance, and contrast way up. It's the closest I can get to (but still really far from) that familiar look.
But all the edges of trees near the brightest sky pick up this ugly over-saturated look. I turn on auto lens correct (which helps mitigate the serious CA and distortion the kit lens has) but I can't fix this, and if I go to dodge or burn it gets worse:
I know this is kind of a ridiculous concern for what amount to snap shots, but I'd really like to know how to fix this easily.
