It sucks that places like amazon don't have airs that you can customize, would have been fine with the 1.86GHz processor if the RAM was not fixed at 2GB. So where did you guys buy you ultimate Macbook Air (apart from the apple store of course).

In Spain, you can only buy the Ultimate version (2.13Ghz and 4gb RAM) directly from the online Apple store. No high-street retail store would have these settings on stock (I asked in like 5 of them).

Apple online store. In stock, 2 day delivery. No need to go elsewhere, you can get them from apple re-sellers in the uk i think, like micro-anvicta (or something similar sounding)

I always buy my apple computers through apple online. Good service + free delivery.

I bought mine from B&H in New York. Paid for overnight shipping had it the very next day. The no 'tax' thing is nice. Even factoring in my EPP price, this was cheaper. Got the full ultimate (13") for $1750.

+1 for PowerMax. And the trade-in was fantastic - much better than trying to sell on eBay, Craigslist or Amazon. I plan to use them again in the future - probably when the Sandy Bridge Mac Pros are released.

Just received my Ultimate from the online Apple store. It's taken exactly 7 days to be delivered.
