MBA Normal?

When I open my MBA and the open lid faces a light source I can see the outline of the Apple logo on the screen (when off or dark).

Seems the light passes through to the back of the screen.

Is this normal?

Normal, happens to every Air I've seen being used outside with a dim screen.

you like having a big bright apple in the middle of your otherwise dimmed screen? I find it more of an annoyance.

I tend to agree. This is not good engineering and was absolutely easy for apple to discover and correct.

It doesn't annoy me at all. I hardly notice it when the scree isn't turned off.
