I have a late 09 iMac, which means it only has one sata port available on the logic board. Since I have an external LG bluray reader/writer, I dont really need the internal CD drive, so I wanted to replace it with a SSD drive I have. I thought it would be as simple as swapping the CD drive for the SSD, but if I have browsed correctly through the DIYs on other sites, the optical drive is not connected via SATA. So what cables do I need to order? I originally ordered the angled SATA cable for the SSD, before I found out that my iMac only had one sata connector, so now I dont know what i need to order. Is there a 2in1 SATA connector which can be piggybacked to the original HD in the iMac? Any help is greatly appreciated!
