Yellow triangle,charging is not supported...

Hey all,

new here...

just recenty when i lock my iphone i get this little picture...quite annoying.

think its caining my battery too




its an iphone 3gs on 4.2.1 - jail broken and unlocked via red sn0w

ive tried pop up blockers via cydia that ive watched on youtube. with no sucess,

please help

use Resupported in Cydia it should fix the problem

Location: At the iPhone hacks section.
Ressuported4 is for 4.0 firmware and higher.
So use that instead of the older one.

Not sure bro, I never used it before.
But by reading the information on the particular cydia package sounds like its not gonna work for what you need it to do.
Important notes: Resupported 4 WILL NOT enable charging with cords that do not already charge your device. That is a hardware, not a software limitation.
Read the info before you install it for further details on how it works and what it does. If it doesnt work you can always remove it though

doesnt seemed to have cured it beginning to wonder if its a hardware fault?

Probably a prob with the particular plug or charger.
Not all will work, I had a few that wouldnt charge either.

restore as NEW...
if that doesn't fix it then check dirt/lint in contacts

Just make sure if you do restore, you do so via PwnageTool. Never let iTunes do its thing automatically.

Oh, so that screen is on even when you dont have anything plugged into the iphone?
Then it sounds like a hardware issue or water damage with the phone.
Not a good sign.
If you do restore use a custom IPSW created with pwnage to maintain your unlock.

cheers...downloading pwnagetool now,

yeah i hit the lock button and i get the yellow triangle,

not had it near water that i know off... hope it isnt goosed!

thanks also will follow the tool when i get it, hopefully the restore will **** this thing off lol, if not ill be taking it to a phone shop....
