Ok so maybe I was one of the first to get error 1013 a few weeks ago after restoring my jailbroken 3GS on firmware 4.2.1... It just went into a recovery loop where the iTunes connect logo would come up and cannot restore it..
Here is how to fix it, but you will need to do this everytime you restore now unfortunately.
1 - turn phone off
2 - place in dfu mode (u will know if it's in dfu if iTunes says phone needs recovery and if iPhone screen is black)
3 - run green poison while it's in dfu
4 - it wont work it will get through a bit of it and say failed (if it just goes white scree and say failed, do a hard reset and re-do steps 1-4, there should be a little bit of the script run for this to work)
5 - try iTunes restore again and it will go through
However when you go to restore it again you will get error 1013 again just run greenp0ison in dfu mode and after it fails u will be able to get through the restore process
