My superdrive died on me 
Whats the best way to go for getting a new drive. I am thinking of just adding an external firewire drive in. What are your comments?
Can I just get a case like this http://www.newegg.com/app/Showimage.asp?style=album and add any regular dvd+rw drive into it? http://www.newegg.com/app/manufact.asp?catalog=5&DEPA=0 Or am I going to run into problems because of Mac OSX?
Or should I get a Lacie or something, that is all in one. I have toast, but will i run into problems burning with idvd and from the finder and such?
I have a 1.6GHZ G5 and the superdrive is a SONY that came installed. So if i were to get a pioneer replacement would that not work?
